There's a lot of fonts on my computer that i don't usually use (like in Microsoft Word), and i found that they take up a lot of space, today i went to C drive -- WINDOWS -- Fonts, and i deleted many of those fonts. Now i'm a bit worried, is it gonna affact me when i'm viewing a website or a file or anything?
thanks a lot if you would help!!

Keep the ones you expect to need.

Ones you should definitely keep are Marlett, System, Symbol, Terminal, and the "MS" or "Microsoft" fonts. These are used by Windows in certain places. You should probably keep Arial, Courier, and Times New Roman at bare minimum, too.

aboslutely not, deleting the fonts on a program effects the program only, and not in a bad way. Not sure fonts really take alot of room, you should beable to right click and hit properties of the font file and see it's size. cant imagine it being over a hundred kilobytes at least.

it shouldn't be a problem as long as you just deleted the ones you never use and not commonly used ones....realistically though, they don't take up but around 100kb mostly..if you want to save space, i would recommend a drive cleaner like CCleaner http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

if the fonts are still in the recycle bin, i would put them on a cd or some other form of media in case a problem does come up
