don't get a grim reaper just because it has a lot of black in it. there are tons of tattoo designs that can cover up a tattoo, especially if it is small. i mean, if you want a grim reaper then go for it but don't get that just because you think your options are limited. i have a great coverup that doesn't have a ton of black in it. as do some of my friends. go to a custom tattoo artist and see what they can work up for you. get something you like or you'll just be dissatisfied with the grim reaper later as well. good luck!

I am sorry but that is a really ugly thing to have tattooed on your flesh, the grim reaper. I guarantee you that no girl is going to be impressed by such a thing. It is pretty much a guy image.
There are other ways to deal with an ugly tat. Ask a professional piercer who comes recommended for doing repairs. a tiger, an animal footprint, a dragon... there are many options nicer than a grim reaper.

cover ups are cheaper, but they aren't all they're cracked up to be. i have had 4 myself, 2 worked, 2 did not. you can still see the old tat if you look closely. (they were all black ink covers too)
get a grim reaper in another spot. try to find an affordable removal. i heard a commercial about a fading cream, but missed the name and have been meaning to look it up on line.
peace!

I agree, look through the tattoo sites you can find in a general search through yahoo, and hopefully as you're searching you'll see one that reminds you of your childhood or something that means something to you. Tattoofinder.com is an amazingly large site for tattoos that has lots of tattoos for ideas and even gives you stencils to take in to the artist. Good luck!

I would definately go with something else because a tatoo should have meaning behind it, not just look cool... plus they're way over done... but if it's what you truly want... Here's a site with some cool designs.
