I have to do a clear liquid diet for surgury tommarrow - and this canned stuff is horrible! Pepper, hot sauce didnt help much.
Hot chili sesame oil is good, but there is a blob of it, that floats on the surface and it doesnt mix in, y'know?
I have almost everything....what do you think I should put in....
How about five spice powder?
I have a few more to drink tongiht, so a variety would be nice...

Cook a piece of real chicken in it for about 20 mins- just to get the flavor. Strain out the solids before eating. You'll notice a marked difference in taste. Add some veggies and herbs too if you want, and likewise strain them out.

Vinegar works for me also, I like sour things.

What brand are you using? You would think chicken broth is chicken broth, but that is definitely not the case and there are definite differences between brands. I tend to use Butterball brand in most recipes and it tastes fine all by itself. Pretty much any seasoning blends that you like can be used to enhance the flavor of the broth you are using.
