how do i cut out an image like a body and put it in a different background?? can this be done??

Use the lasso (rope) tool and draw a careful outline around the object. Copy. Create a new layer. Select the layer and paste into it. Create another layer, move it below the layer with the pasted object, and put the background you want in it.

If the object in its original picture is against a solid color background, you can use the magic-wand tool to select the background, then use Invert Selection, then copy, instead of using the lasso tool.

you can use Laos tool to select the area of the image you want to cut and copy that image . i usually make new transparent page and paste image and do erasing and burring stuff to make it look good and then copy the whole image and paste on the back ground that i want.
