Well, how much weight you can lose depends on how your diet goes and how much exercise you can get in. I think you could lose a pretty good amount though with some concerted effort. I would never advise skipping meals or fast food -- make and bring your lunch. Make it full of veggies and then a sandwhich, even PBJ on whole wheat bread is better than just about anything you can get fast foodish, and cheaper.
You don't want to cut back on your calories TOO TOO much or your body will go into starvation mode and start hording all the calories you do take in. You might be able to look up a healthy caloric intake -- I'm no expert. Just someone who's been battling a while too. I'm way down and happy and I think you'll get there if you try hard enough.
Try to do AT least a 30 minute walk or get a low impact aerobics video. I'm telling you -- if you can work on the diet and just add the walking you will see some pretty great results and fast!!
