First, judaism, them christianity, and lastly, islam.

I noticed a couple of people seemed to think islam came first, which is ludicrous, as Mohammed spoke about the Torah and Jesus, and was born over 300 years after the crucifiction of Christ. I also noticed someone said the bible was the oldest book, its not, the Torah was thousands of years earlier.

Apparently, the muslim people consider themselves Jewish, with the "people of God" thing they think being muslim means. The first people who believed in the one true God were the Jews. The first christians were Jews. Being of the islamic faith means they follow Mohammed, who as has been said before, wasn't around until over 300 years after the crucifiction of Christ. The people who are confused about who were the first people to believe in the one true God need to bone up on their history.

Judaism laid the foundation for the three monotheisms when Abraham (theoretically) made a pact with God 4000 years ago.

About 2000 years later, Jesus was then born a Jew and through his crucifixion and (theoretical) resurrection became the figurehead of Christianity.

Approximately 600 years after that, Muhammad received (theoretically) the word of God via the angel Gabriel and became the last of the prophets.

All three faiths are based on the stories of Abraham, all three have the same creation myths etc. The fundamental difference between each is who is the messiah (Jews don't think Jesus is, Christians do) or the final prophet (Muslims believe the word of God as given to Muhammad finalized everything and considers Jesus a prophet, but not THE prophet).
