If you are talking about Williams before he was shot by the highway patrolman, then it is the Big Cat.

This would have been a pretty good scrap, but Shavers would have eventually landed a bomb and KOed Williams. Ernie Shavers hit as hard as any heavyweight who ever lived, and I say that in all honesty. Forman, Liston, Marciano or any of the greats didn't have anything on Ernie when it came to punching power. Ernie lacked the mobility of Williams, but Williams wouldn't have had the defensive ability to keep Shavers from eventually getting to him.
Shavers by KO inside of 10 rounds.

Smitty while this fight lasted, it would have been a war. Williams was once a feared heavyweight in the 60's known for his punch and Shavers is one of the hardest punchers of all time. It might become a matter of who caught who first in this fight. I believe that both men trade some pretty heavy bombs on each other and both are wobbled by each other in this fight. It may very well come down to stamina and who has more left in their gas tank in this fight. I will say that Shavers lands a devastating right hand to the jaw of "The Big Cat" in round 8 and is counted out.

Shavers had a little more power than Liston who KO'd Williams twice. I would go with Shavers in this fight. KO in 5

I'd lean toward Shavers, a huge puncher.
Shavers was not the best boxer, so Cat would have his chance.
