I write poems. They come to me in my sleep. So, I wake up and write them down. This one, was about a girl i like so, I wrote it and put it in her locker anonymously. That was the mistake... I think. It might have creeped her out a bit? I haven't talked to her since though (this was like 3 hours ago). We are both 17 and in high school and I am the last person she would expect to do this.
The poem read:
Paint with my words a picture clean,
Her hair is brown her eyes are green,
Everything I love she has,
Her tongue to my ears,
Is like jazz.
Stacy why won't you notice me,
Your vibrant looks intimidate me.
Your inner glow brings color to my life.
Along with it i wrote this:
Here is a poem I wrote a month ago, I hope it doesn't creep you out. If nothing else, maybe it will encourage you.
Do you think it might creep her out?

No, you won't creep her out...just keep her guessing! Girls love a challenge and a thrill! Next leave her a daisy or something...then ask her if she wants to find out who you are...she can answer by putting a magnet or something on her locker...then you can lead her on a sort of scavenger hunt with fun clues...string it out for a couple of weeks....you know, just have fun! She can find out who you are by meeting you somewhere for a soda or a movie or something. That can be your first date!

It wouldn't creep me out. I think it is a lovely poem and most girls would be happy to receive it. But don't expect anything to come of it. If she is intrigued then she will ask around to find out who put it in her locker. If she is interested, then you can introduce yourself as the author and see where things lead from there...you sound like a sweet guy, good luck

Girls love romantic poetry.
If she likes you she will love it even more.
If she doesn't like you that way she will still like the poem and be flattered.
