On jan I breakup with my x bf coz he was playing me. I then get this new bf and I like him very much. The thing is we both are working in the same company together with the x bf. It`s just that I`m working in the head office and they are working at the asignment. My new bf and I went for HIV test and we were negative. We are planing to get marrage but somepeople are telling me that I`ve made a mistake to fall in love with that guy coz he knows my x. Can somebody help me please? Is there anything wrong falling in love with the person who knows your x? They were not close friends it`s just that they knew each other. This guy is very serious and not that he`s after sex. Guyz p`se tell me if wrong? This guy is 30years and I`m 28. We real love eachother. Do you thing I`m wrong? P`se help?

Stop listening to these jealous people. You are a good person and deserve to be happy. what does it matter that your bf knows your x, so what. You both seem to be at a perfect age for each other, so I am not sure what age has to do with anything here. I think that your friends around you are jealous that you are thinking of marriage. Or jealous that you are happy. Listen to your heart, ignore all the negative stuff and ask yourslef all the difficult questions. Are you both in love, do you want to spend the rest of your life with him, does he give you what you need, love etc, are you happy, what does your heart say about it? You are not doing anything wrong because you are happy! Enjoy your new future with the man you love and listen to each other and your hearts and don't let anyone tell you negative stuff to set you off balance. If something was wrong here, you would know it in your heart and it sounds to me like you are just happy in love. Go for it and don't let anyone interfear with the love you have for each other. It's not wrong to love a guy who knows your ex!As long as you're happy with your new bf then keep him!Age doesn't really matter,it's just the heart and personality that he has that counts.Sounds like his a good man,keep him.Your ex is wrong for playing on you.Keep your new bf and don't listen to what others think,date him and get married to him if you want.Just have fun with love and life.

I don't think you're wrong. I mean, if you all 3 work for teh same company, it's only natural that you all know each other. You or he might consider getting a different job or make sure that you're not working directly together because that can cause problems.

I don't think your wrong but I wouldn't rush into marriage. How long have u know this guy? If its less than 2 yrs I wouldn't jump into getting married just yet. As long as your x is bothering you'll I'd say go for it but get to know each other first.

I'm seriously confused as to what would be wrong here. You love him a lot and he loves you. I don't know what an HIV test has to do with it, but just because your new boyfriend knows your ex doesn't mean you should not date him.

Since when is knowing someone a terrible thing? You say they're not really close friends? Then I don't see how that should prevent you guys from being happy. You aren't wrong.

Them knowing each other shouldn't affect your relationship with your new boyfriend. It might affect your professional relationship with your coworkers through gossip, but it shouldn't affect your future with this guy.
Just remember to keep the relationship professional during work hours (eg don't hold hand or call him baby when you talk to him) and squash any rumors you hear before they become too big to handle.
