so i just heard bout the digital designs subwoofers. supposedly they r just amazing, flat out amazing quality and so good you only need to buy 1 15"... Ive also heard that the mtx 9500 series woofers are an imitation of the Digital Designs 9500 series, now thats kinda hard to believe for me thats why i need alot of support and opinions from anyone that knows or owns a DD subwoofer.

Just one suggestion , If you don't know what you are talking about keep it to your self.digital designs out sources alot, do you remember the first kicker L7 ( the ones in Alma gates bronco a while back) the motor structures were built by digital designs ,they have also built motors for PPI , Phoenix gold ,etc.
this is who your mainstream manufactures call to build there motor structures ,when it has to be done right the first time .
the MTX 9500 is not an imitation of the dd 9500 series.
Digital designs is what most of these major players take to china to copy .
and I'm a kicker dealer and kicker supporter , and have been since 1992.

You are right about them being very good subs. I don't think the mtx's are imitation but the DD are really good.
If you really want DD but dont have the money look into Audioque woofers. They are/were basically the same except for the cooling options that DD has. I say were because I believe DD are going to be using new baskets for the woofers and no longer use the four spoke design. Not 100% sure but either way DD or Audioque would be nice depending on what you want to accomplish.
***HARLEY THATS BECAUSE YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ANY QUALITY PRODUCTS BESIDES YOUR OVERPRICED MAINSTREAM CRAP BRANDS. I AM SURE THEN YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD OF RE,DD, AA, FI, AUDIOQUE, IMAGE DYNAMICS, SI,ADIRE, OR ATOMIC. TRUST ME THERE IS MUCH BETTER THAN JL,KICKER, AND MTX.

DD subs are very good products. But for the money I don't know. Please look into TC Sounds woofers. VERY good SQ, relatively inexpensive. But for SPL, and for the $, Kicker knows how to live loud.

DD is a really good woofer. but there only really good for SPL. i believe it was a single DD 10" woofer that hit 170 db.

if u ask me they look really cheap in the center of the sub. plus ive never heard of them. i would go with the mtx over those, however i would go with somethign like kicker or alpine subs
