If you son not want to chemically straighten your hair you can use Aveda Hang Straight. Just apply a little to your hair either after you wash it or just dry. Then blow dry straight with a roll brush. This will get it good. The for shine use the Aveda Brilliant Line (anti-humectant if your hair frizzes a lot or the humectant if you need more moisture to your hair) GOOD LUCK

Frizz Ease or John Freida's "Here's the Skinny" can be put on while hair's still damp to keep strands straight. You can also blow dry your hair with a concentrator downwards to straighten hair.
