We need some more information to answer this question. What kind of work do you do? Do you deliver furniture? Or are you an accountant? Of course, your physician is the person you should actually get your information from. She or he knows how badly your rupture was, and can help you if you need a light-duty letter to your employer, or send you to a physical therapist for further evaluation and treatment.
