I called in sick again for tomarrow, and I feel guilty, 2 days in a row!

no i never felt guilty all the time's i called in sick even though my boss tried the guilt trip on me but **** the thought of that place made me want to puke

I'm an older woman with kids that are grown. I think feeling guilty for calling in sick is a woman's thing. NO DO NOT FEEL GUILTY!!!! If you are not up to working all day, it is fine for you to call in sick. The rule SHOULD be, take care of yourself so you can take care of everyone else. Believe me, if you don't, no one else will. It is up to you to see that you are OK.

well, i don't like the word "should". if u feel guilty than thats how u feel and u really cannot change it. but u can accept that u feel guilty and move on. next week when u r tempted to call in remember the guilt u feel today.
have a nice day off tommorow. to lesson your guilt, be productive and wake up early, fire your maid and clean!

Not if you're sick. If you work at a daycare or with the elderly then you should not be around them if you are ill. If you called in because you don't feel like going, then feel bad about it!! Its not easy to work short staffed.

Not if you're legitimately sick. you can't help that, but yes calling in sucks period, especially 2 days in a row!
