why is this in Toddler & Preschooler?
Your not paying the maid to take naps. Being tired from being on Q/A is her problem not yours. So, why should it cost you? Fire her. With the next maid you hire, have written bylaws and have her sign the agreement.

If there are more issues that have occured besided the nap thing, if her quality of work is not so hot, etc, then maybe it is time for her to go. If she was just taking a quick break and fell asleep and she is overall a good worker, tell her not to let it happen again and go from there.

Maybe not fire her. Go for the 3 strikes rule, and count this as one strike. After 3 offenses, get rid of her.

No, just give her a warning. If it happens again, give her an un-payed leave of absence, and if it happens a third time, fire her.

You should give her a chance.
Ask her one question and if she gets it right, she can stay.
If she gets it wrong, she's gone.
