...and have opposite work schedules. he calls, usually once a week and emails too. we did go 6 wks w/out seeing each other over the holidays due to our schedules, but to make it up he took me on a really nice overnight outing. he always pays for e'ything and is very sincere. a few weeks ago i sent a letter saying that i'm not one to hang on just to hang on and the fact that i don't know where we stand is probably my answer. there have been several emails since then with the most recent being one where he told me that he was married for 1 1/2 yrs and it wasn't final until 2 mos before we started hanging out. she left him and as a result he obviously doesn't want to go there again. so, i'm torn. understandably he never told me this, but nonetheless he didn't tell me and i feel like that's a big deal (granted i probly would've run for the hills had he told me early on) but what else isn't he telling me? then again i feel bad for the guy - it's not exactly something to be proud of. advice?

if u like him that shouldn't be a problem. just hang out with him and if he has anything else 2 say he will say it when he feels comfortable enough to tell you. so just don't worry about it.

You would be better off just being a good friend that he sees now and again, but give him room and time to get some healing time behind him. He doesn't even know what he thinks, let alone sorting out where he has been and where he is going right now.
Don't be all over him with he should have said this or done that, he doesn't need to go there with you. If you care for him at all, understand that he has been through a lot and cut him a whole lot of slack.

well give the guy a chance i mean if you first heard a guy say that it just broke up with his wife you would dump him like that so maybe he just wants to have a chance so give the guy a chance and don't break up with him because of it and if it doesn't work out oh well thats life
