Such guys are idiots and jerks. They are not long-term thinkers. They are living in the moment, and need immediate fulfillment, they just wanna have fun, and only later do they realize it's too late. Then they disappear.

The same ways that a girl uses a guy by leading him on, by making him think he has a shot at being a boyfriend, but only to be told, "I only like you as a friend." (the seven most dreaded words a guy would ever want to hear).
People, regardless of gender, can be selfish, callous, insensitive, and uncaring. Women think that they are more sensitive to men's needs than men are to women needs. To some extent, that statement is true. What is also true is that women do not understand many of the needs that men have, and as a consequence, they marginalize them as not being important.
It all boils down to a lack of common courtesy and a lack of open communication between a man and a woman.

Young guys usally want the sex and companionship and have no use for the commitment. When a man is young there are significant disadvantages to committing to one person, financially, career-wise, and eductaion-wise.
When guys get older than 25-30, they can see the benefits of comittment, but it still comes with some serious financial risks and they are wary and many prefer not to commit.

They are just jerks. They dont care about the feelings of the girl, just the pleasure in their pants. They are no mature enough to be in a relationship. And remeber what goes around comes around. They will get their heart broken by some ***** that could care less about their feelings.

hey i just asked basically this same question a little while ago.. :) and it DEFINITELY happens i know. i honestly don't know How someone can do that to a girl and not feel bad. i think it's because girls tend to get more Emotionally Attached, and faster.. and so the guys don't, so if they see someone they like better it's not As hard for them to just move on.. because they still "have someone." it's us girls that tend to get screwed most the time... i'm sorry that happened to you.. it sucks. but at least you saw how he truly was before you fell Further for him.... so in a way he did you a favor. you deserve Much better!!! no one deserves that.. but it happens..

Some people don't understand that others feel pain. Sometimes love causes pain. Don't let a person use you. Save the goods for the man who will love you forever, not just with his words, but with his actions. It takes time to find him, but it will save you much heartache in the mean time.
