It depends on what type of guy he is. If he's more type A aggressive. Don't be nice. Reject him coldly. Often times guys will be persistent and will not stop unless clear boundaries are set. However, if he is timid and nice. Reject him, but emphasis that you think he's cool - but you're he's not your type.
If he argues, don't let him command you. Tell him what's up.

Why do you have to do it nicely. Just tell him the truth, guy hate when girls try to do it nicely. They just screw it up when they do that.
Be a real person and tell him the truth about how you feel.

Something along those lines. Make sure you say something positive about him in a genuine tone, it'll make him feel better.

well, being a guy that has been turned down MANY times, tell him that he is an amazing guy, but not one that you would want to be involved with.

Just be honest - tell him he's a nice guy but you don't like him in that way and you'd just like to be friends.

ok im in the same situtation. one thing i learned is that trying to just drop the hint doesnt work...it just makes him think your playing hard to get. your going to have to tell him your not interested in him

don't lead him down the wrong path, that is cruel and he may get crazy and do something irrational later.
