Can you imagine the death ratio against US VS China?

If the iraqis are stomping the US imperialists this hard imagine what China would do? I expect the odds to be anywhere between 100:1 to 1000:1 China.

actually the Iraqi's are not stomping the us. the Iraqi death toll is much higher than the Americans. as for china, the problem is that they have such a numerical advantage that the death ratio would have to be extremely high in the Americans favor to simple break even. so even if Americans are killing Chinese 20:1 it is still less attrition total to the Chinese side Due to their superior numbers overall

You have to include that if the US were to go to war with China, the US would be fighting the kind of war it likes; against a set power. So, troops are troops, and that's how it is. Airplanes, missiles, ships, tanks.
Now, in Iraq, we're fighting insurgents who, when they put down their guns, are immediately called civilians. All they do is set down some IED or other device and run away. Then when a patrol goes by to try and help keep the peace, they blow the explosive.

And I stop myself.

Oh wait. We're occupying Iraq. That means, in the same situation, we'd be occupying China! Whoops! We already won.

Depends upon the route the combat takes. One, conventionally tipped ICBM (Non-nuclear) vs. the Three Gorges Dam (The world's largest dam) = 1/3 of China's population destroyed in a massive flood. China would have to cede victory to the US, so that they could tend to the disaster. The US could win it, without the loss of a single soldier.
