Dear Kaity,
At the very last chapter of Luke the apostles are dealing with how to deal with life after Jesus. Jesus instructs them to wait for the Holy Spirit.
And we see how the Holy Spirit influences and empowers the life of the believer for ministry.
Jesus told them to wait- because He wanted their ministry to be full of His empowerment- not based on their own will power and resources.
Hope that helps. Kindly,
Nickster

The Acts of the Apostles and the gospel of Luke were written by St. Luke. They were both written for Gentiles.
Peace and every blessing!

Both sections are chock full of perverse, destructive - even suicidal advice. Perversion at it's most extreme.
