I asked this guy out yesterday and told him to tell me his answer tomrrow [which rite now is today] and even tho i dint want to, my hopes got too high and then when he finally answered he said no...he said that im a great friend and he doesnt want to hate me if/when we ever break up and that he just doesnt like me like that...will i heal? will i ever love again?

Of course you will! That's why... You learn from your mistakes. Next time, you won't have high hopes. It's painful at first, and it takes a while to let go for most people, but you'll get over it. Enjoy life right now. Don't think too much about what could've happened, because if he rejected you, why should you like/love him?

Yes you will be ok. Don't let this bring you down. Yeah it can shoot your self esteem down. But hey, it happens to us all one way or another. Its part of life. Listen, next time you ask a guy out, try being his friend first, and see where it goes on from there. You will know if he is interested in you or not. And then you will know weither to take the next step..which is asking him out. Hold your head up high ok..you don't chase them, you replace them!!!

You will definetly heal I think its great that he was honest with you because he could have gotten with you made you think you had something and then broke up with you cuz when its not there, its just not there. hey maybe he has some cute friends that you can get to know after all they have to have something in common to be hanging out together don't you think?

of course you will!! often after any rejection, people have a tendency of thinking they will never love again, that they've lost their chance...but honestly even at your lowest point there will always be someone else, and if you know how to move on and learn as you go, those other guys are just gonna get better and better every time! if you meet someone and they reject you then they've missed their chance to meet one amazing girl, it's their loss, now you get to go out and meet someone who's even better and who will appreciate just how wonderful you are!

Awwe he must like you, but like you too much to lose you.
He seems wise also, because the likely hood of you staying together for a long time is probably not high, seeing as it would have been your first relationship.

OF COURSE YOU WILL HEAL! do you heal when you have a minor scrape when you fall on the sidewalk. this is minor, wait until you fall off a mountain and break your arm in two, thats where the scars begin. YOU WILL BE FINE!
