I've tried willpower and some suggestions but they don't work, and all my mom says is 'Don't do it' which doesn't really help.

There's dental appliances to correct these problems, they're called habit-brakers consult your dentist or orthodontist if you're a good candidate. You may also need to control the source of your anxiety.

Chewing gum, or hard candy, you may even want to chew on a toothpick if you are out of candy and gum.

Try to find some other thing to replace this habit and soon it will be gone.

I have the same problem. I put on chapstick or lipstick that I do not like the taste of. This usually helps. And if the lipstick is colored then you will not like it on your fingers so you will not do it as much! Good luck!!!

put grease or vicks salve so yu know when yu taste it to stop?

chew gum or suck peppermint.
U will be okay, wear chapstick.
