Me and my fiance have been together for almost 5 years and his brother has always been such a jerk. He just met this new girl(from a bar) and got her knocked up. They moved into this apartment and had a house warming party. I found out from my fiance's sister that lives in ny that they had this party without even inviting us. How rude is that. My fiance's own brother didnt even call him or his stupid gf didnt call me or invite us over. Instead they invited over there back stabbing grandmother, and the dead beat father. Tell me why you think my fiance's brother didnt invite us over there? I am a good person and i would think they would have atleast called. What a jerk and my fiance is pretty hurt by all of this.

hey i can understand being hurt, but to be honest not every one is as nice as you and i. what i would do is this. continue to be the nice person you are and let him know that you and your husband do not really appreciate the way he acts toward you, you cant make someone like you, you cant even make a person love you, you just have to be patient and let god take care of people like. just continue to forgive him an another thing to think about is this. your brother in law might feel as if he is losing his brother to you.

Here's the problem I see: you think the guy's a jerk and yet you wonder why he's not extending the hand of friendship. It's because he's a jerk! And if you think he's a jerk, why does it matter whether he wants to include you in something? Reserve your hurt feelings for when you are dissed by someone you have an ounce of respect for! Just accept it - it will always bother you just as much as you let it. It reminds me of the old joke: two old people go to a restaurant and as usual, complain about everything. One says to the other, 'The food here is terrible.' The other one says, 'You are so right! And such small portions, too!'
