Is a "pregnaut" anything like an astronaut? *grin*

Your misspelling of "pregnant" is one of the most amusing I've seen lately. Well, that and "pregnet".

As for your actual question, I'm not sure. Girls between 7-10 who get their periods are considered to have precocious puberty, which means they're starting to develop much earlier than is normal. Even if their bodies have enough hormones to produce menstruation, that does NOT necessarily mean their bodies can maintain the proper hormonal balance to successfully carry out a pregnancy and have a healthy baby. Extremely young girls can get pregnant, but are at a higher risk for miscarriage. Heck, even some adult women don't always have enough/the right levels of hormones to maintain a successful pregnancy. I know of some women who had miscarriages for this very reason. :(

Another problem regarding extremely young girls getting pregnant, is that in some cases, their hips are not wide enough to safely allow for the passage of the baby's head during the birthing process, so the girls are unable to deliver vaginally and must have C-sections instead.

Good luck in your class. :) Hopefully next time the instructors will offer more time for questions/answers, because you asked a good question, and it's important not to diss students who actually want to ask questions.

It's uncommon for females to have menstruation that early but there are documented cases of girls who started very early, and yes, the chances of pregnancy are the same as in an older person.
I remember reading about a case, involving rape, of a child in Peru.

Like among the others have stated, Yes, as soon as the lady begins having her interval, she will get pregnant. Sadly there are a developing quantity of younger women getting pregnant. As a lot as I desire to mention that they should not be having intercourse to start with, I realize that is not truth now a days. So for any younger women that particularly desire to have intercourse...they obviously ought to use safeguard whenever.

for whoever said it, no thats not uncommon to start that early. yea it can happen and it does, just not as often as girls in their older teens. in some developing countries girls are married and having kids by your age!

As the old saying goes, "If she's old enough to bleed, then she's old enough to breed."
