Write her a letter. Put it in the mail. She will get it with the rest of the mail, open it and read it. She will have the words to think about. She might not want to listen because she might be thinking that she doesn't want an argument. Well, a letter is not an argument. A letter is a chance to express yourself. Spell everything correctly. Spend a lot of time thinking about what you are going to say. You could even run it by another adult (maybe a trusted relative) to find out if it is written well-enough. But put it in your own words.

Explain to your mom that it is very important to you that she listen. That you need to be able to count on her. You also need to listen to her though. If you behave maturely it will help. Remember whineing is not beneficial to the art of communication. I'm not sayng that your a whiner. I'm just saying if you do, you need to stop, or she won't take you seriously. Also are you talking to her about things that are real important? If it is that she won't buy you the latest thing you want, thats not a serious issue, and if you harrass her about stuff like that she will be less likely to be willing to listen to you when it really matters. If you are taking care of things your suppose to be doing this will make your mom respect you. Be as reasonable and as mature as you can so your mom will listen. I really hope this helps. write her a note explaining whatever you need to explain. that way you can explain without her interupting. trust me, this way works. i had the same problem, but came up with this solution. Good Luck!!

maybe what you should do is write her a letter and put it somewhere that you know she will look. since she won't listen to you she may read your note.
