I firmly believe that life is all about relationship, firstly our relationship with God and secondly with one another, the very basis of our lives is summed up by the commandment that Christ gave us, `To love God and our neighbor as ourselves`

Insofar as there is any meaning to life, relationships would have to be it. Since the first stem cells diversified and made complex organisms possible, relationships have made communication and learning possible.

The image of a solitary Christian (or Buddhist, perhaps) working out their own personal salvation/enlightenment seems foolish. You can't properly understand yourself if you can't deal with other people, as annoying and unpredictable as they may be. Even among mystics, the goal is to get outside of and over yourself.

Life is diverse. The more diverse one's experience, the better one understands what is superfluous and what is unchanging. Our relationships develop, change, break and reform, but there are aspects that always continue. They make up much of what we are.

Every experience is a relationship, every experience a relationship, from an infant's first bonding to a business contract to a new scientific discovery, to an ecstatic religious vision. It is both the meaning and the definition of "life".

Understanding yourself opens you up, to understand others
You have to love yourself first before you can appreciate and love others.
A relationship takes 100% effect and open communication.
Good morals and boundaries to set so no misunderstandings happen.
life is what you make it and we are all here for the journey so make the best of it : )

Only if you define it as such, for you. Everyone gets to define a meaning *if* they want. For most, relationships are critical, but there is still no intrinsic meaning or purpose of life at all.

“I don't think we're here for anything, we're just products of evolution. You can say, "Gee, your life must be pretty bleak if you don't think there's a purpose,” but I'm anticipating a good lunch.” -- James Watson (DNA Structure Co-discoverer.)

All living things have relationships of some kind, but those relationships don't have to be spiritual. Humans have a relationship with nature, for we rely on it to survive, and likewise nature relies on humanity to survive. Cows would be extinct today had they not been domesticated for milk and beef production.

I celebrate relationships with all of nature. I believe I am here as a steward of the earth and all living things.

A life without relationships would certainly be pretty bleak and barren. No gods though - don't believe in them.

sure, in the different case each physique could be a hypocrite. If I instructed somebody i replaced into their chum, i might instruct it (empirically) via showing them that i replaced right into a chum via doing selfless acts for them (favors), choosing up their tab sometimes, and offering them a trip sometimes working example. yet as quickly as I instructed them that i replaced into their chum yet do not instruct (grant data of such friendship) then i could be a hypocrite and/or a liar.

Bacteria have life they don't have relationships. Neither do asexual species. So clearly not the meaning to all life.

I disagree, but for entirely complex, secular reasons which I will not detail here.
