Fletcher Pond - Hillman, Michigan. Beautiful, northern, remote, great pike hole...it's actually a "floodwater" pond, but is massive in size and has a sunken railroad and a river bed running through it, making a picture-perfect spot for quiet freshwater fishing. Surrounded by forests, spotted with cabins for rent on shore, and filled with stumps and lots of "hiding places" for all species of fresh water fish, there are several eagle's nests along the shore and many man-made nesting posts for the other predator birds in the area. Beautiful. I hope you never find it!!!

Freshwater, it's Convict Lake in the eastern Sierras. It's a natural lake (unlike nearby Crowley and southern California places like Casitas and Diamond Valley) and it's nestled up in among the granite peaks and pine trees at 8000 feet. Lots of trout (though mostly planted).

Saltwater, it's Alijos Rocks, 3 pinnacles sticking 100 feet high out of the middle of the ocean 150 miles off the coast of Baja California. Lots of yellowfin tuna and yellowtail there, with some good wahoo fishing in the fall as well.

Lake Casitas and Lake Cachuma in California, are definetly the nicest bodies of water that i have ever seen.

Casitas; the first time i saw this place i was astonished! Just driving by it gets me excited. Not to mention, this lake holds one or two of the worlds 25 largest bass, and holds four out of ten top bass in california(or something like that). Either way, you cannot go wrong by making a trip down to this place!

Cachuma; located in the Santa Barbara mountains off of the 154, this lake is another party in your eyes! I love the cattails in the lakes and makes for good bass fishing.

These lakes are fantastic and I highly recommend a visit

Tough question so I have to divide it into seasons.

Spring would be on a remote area of Lake Okechobee in Florida Largemouth Bass fishing.

Summer would be Catfishing on Lake Marion in South Carolina

Autumn would be Brown trout fishing in western North Carolina Mountains

Winter would be saltwater fishing in the Florida keys

My number one pick as far as beauty and clean refreshing air and scenery would be the mountains of western NC

i fish lake cachuma quite a bit.nice lake but the best view is definately a lake called twin lakes near bridgeport california.it has the sawtooth mountain range in the background and theres a ton of trout in it.including californias record for brown trout.Casitas lake is cool too but whats best about that lake is the oppurtunity to catch giant bass.

Florida, Florida, Florida.
The views are spectacular. If I'm not catching fish, I'm watching the dolphin jump, manatees swim, and the sunrise (or set).
