we already broke up, but I dont know if he wants me back, coz he doesn't want the communication to stop, and he wants us to be friends still. He told me that Im the best thing that happened to him, and it's hard to find someone like me. Does he reserving me in case he was not able to find someone like me?

You hit it right on the nose there when you asked about the saftey net. He wants to find someone else, but he's affraid he's not going to, so if he doesn't he wants to have you to fall back on. My advice is get out ASAP otherwise you're only going to end up in quite a messy situation, and from the sound of it, he's not worth that.

If you really are the best thing that happened to him, why did he brake up with you? My advice, start datting other men and just let this thing go. If you look anything like your avatar, than apperently, he is stupid to let such a beautiful girl go!!!

He wants to keep up with you and what you are doing. As soon as you start seeing someone Else, that's when he will ask you back.

it sounds like you need to let go.... cause he is using his comfort zone to make you waste time waiting for him............ If you are not looking to be strung along then your best bet is to drop him and move forward... you can not be friends with someone you used to love
