I'm 27, 5'8", and I'd say probably 130-135lbs. In a class I'm taking, we have been taking our blood pressure. Pretty much everyone else was in the normal range, I was WAY lower, should I worry? I have around 88/57 and pulse ranged from 47-58.

Also, I eat fairly healthy and am very active. Former ballerina (still dance off and on). I do yoga, and walk a lot.

Isabella,

If you exercise, eat well and practice Yoga you have everything going for you!
Your blood pressure is excellent. It is below the norm of the population because our population is getting sicker and sicker every year. One of the most common American problems is hyperinsulinemia, which causes, among other things: high blood pressure, diabetes, heart problems, obesity, etc...(after this condition was discovered, about 15 years ago or so, the doctors lowered what they consider as healthy averge blood pressure for the population, from 120/90
to 110/80. Again these are averages and the actual values will move up and down depending on the level of fitness.
The more fit the person the lower it will be (except that it can't go below 60 to 65/45 or it will be too low).
The real measure is how you feel. If you feel energetic and are active, it means you are in excellent health conditions.
Someone with low blood pressure feels lethargic and without energy to exercise or do anything.
KEEP IT UP. Good job!

Blood pressure measurements don't count for anything if you've been walking around. Ideally, you should be sitting down for at least 5 minutes or so. Blood pressure also can vary during the day, so it's best to get measurements from similar times during the day. No caffeine in the morning either. These measurements should be repeated on a few separate occasions. Some people get "white coat hypertension" when they go to the doctor's office because they are nervous. Probably blood pressure medicines wouldn't kill you. But you don't necessarily need blood pressure medicines if your blood pressure is only high while active. When doctors study the effects of high blood pressure, they study the effects of people who are diagnosed with it as described above. You are probably at no higher cardiac risk from your blood pressure.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

Yes, that is considered low, however your pulse of 47 is more concerning to me.
Next, are you having any symptoms of lightheadedness or almost fainting? If you are, then you need to get checked out very soon. If not, please see your doctor in the near future.
My advice to you is to get a complete physical or check up. With a true pulse of 47, then it will be a really good idea to at least get an EKG.
With all that being said, I don't want to unnecessarily worry you. There are some people who probably live a normal life w/ those pulse rates and blood pressures, but it could also be early signs of something more dangerous.

Don't worry, my bp stays around 90/60. I'm 5'9 and 45. It's always been low. The more active you are - the more likely it is to be low. Sometimes, if I'm not taking care of myself the way I should, I'll get a little light headed. I'll just eat something salty, and then I'm fine. Don't worry!!
I hope this helped.

Your blood pressure is very good as long as the bottom numbers dont get into the 40's
Mine is 110 over 60 and the doc says mine is perfect , so yours must be fine also.
They go by the bottom numbers, if the bottom numbers read in the 80's or 90's u are at risk .(high blood)

You are lucky to be so healthy. You are a woman, you are young, and this BP is probably very normal for you. You will know it if your BP is too low because you will get dizzy and faint and weak. If you feel fine when you have this pressure, your BP is not too low.
