my man decided the other day that we should split up because he's not ready for a relationship right now. so why is it you think that he continues to call me and want to talk to me, plus he still wants to see me. i ask him and he says he just wants us to stay friends, but i want to know ur opinion, for any of you who have done this tell me why. because as far as it seems we're still together but yet we're not? if u can give me some input i would greatly appreciate it. we were almost to 8 months next month. thanks men!

He just up and decided because he's not ready for a relationship, yet he's still acting like he's in one. Usually (and he will never admit this because he probably can't see it himself) this type of behavior comes out because he wants to be 'free,' (whatever that means) but still enjoys the bejeezus out of your company. 'Company' could mean sex. Could just be the feeling of having someone there. Whatever the reason, this is pretty classic behavior for young men and women. (and sometimes older ones too!) Ever hear the phrase "have your cake and eat it too"? Well, that is what this is, emotionally. So the BIG question is: do you want to be in the situation you are in with him? If you take him back (resume committment) you can probably count on having this happening again, as many times as you let it. So the question is, what will you allow? Seriously, making a decision and sticking to it is the best thing for both of you. If you can't face the possibility of the yo-yo relationship, bail now, and don't let him talk you out of it. It is the only way to make him 'man up.' Do not allow him to be a yo-yo either. The 'friends' thing is usually only empowering to one person, never both.

nicely, because of the fact he HASN'T moved on. only because of the fact he's knocked some warm chick up (she's warm, his cock became doing the questioning) would not recommend he's over you or the final 2 or 3 women he had relationships with. save remote from this guy. Very some distance away. he's a basket case loser which you extremely prefer no longer something to do with.

There is an old saying of having ones cake and eating it too. Cut the personel stuff off. You don't have sex with your "buddies" . Don't give in and just because he calss that does not mean you have to answer. He probley is seeing someone else.

ive never done anything like that and i suggest that the perception he has of being in a long term relationship scares him ---- if he feels more comfortable in this relationship then dont stress --- you are at the same emotional and commitment level just without the label --- let the relationship mature and see where it goes

He wants the benefits of a relationship without the responsibility. So that when he sees someone he likes he won't be attached to you and can actually pursue it.

He want to keep you close so he can still have sex with you, and far enough away so he can have sex with other girls. And no I've never done that myself one woman is plenty for me at one time.
