I got really sick earlier and threw up my lunch, now my tongue feels really weird in spots, almost like it was burnt, and when I checked it in the mirror, I saw orange-coloured spots with whitish rings around their edges, almost like blisters. I've smoked a million times before and this is more than a little strange, but I was stressed, so I may have smoked a part-drag of the filter on my second cig- I don't know if that could have anything to do with it. Please help me out here; should I be worried?

Sounds like an allergy from some food u ate.
Gargle with vinegar and then run your mouth down in olive oil.
Take a benedryl or allergy pill.
I dont think smoking has anything to do with this.
check what u ate last or were u out under the pine pollen?

If you did burn your tongue, don't worry about it. Rinse your mouth with a weak salt solution a couple times this evening and let nature take its course. If the bumps get larger or more discolored go see your doc. Sounds as though your taste buds or some of the papilla on your tongue may have gotten irritated.

You say you've smoked a million times before. In that case, hopefully the reddened areas you're seeing aren't cancer. If you're a drinker and smoke, you stand a much higher chance of tongue and throat cancer.

There are healthier ways to handle stress. I hope you'll look into them next time you need help coping. Good luck.

Go to your dentist right away and have it checked out. If it's cancer and you catch it early, it is treatable according to this article.
