WRONG! Stay away from this co-worker; even tell your boss. And if he ever hits his girlfriend and you can prove it, report him.

Tell him it's not right to hit women at all. Women are people and they shouldn't be treated like that. If he does want to get married and hit his wife then he shouldn't get married in the first place. He needs to learn that hitting women isn't the right thing to do. If he wants to hit something then he should get a punching bag and hit all he wants to. I also have to say he is totally wrong about what he said. Tell me what I said and I hope he understands.

Ok, I'm going to let you in on a secret. Some guys just like to make these type of statements to get a rise out of you. He doesn't necessarily believe in what he is telling you. It's called playing "Devil's Advocate". I do it at work all the time. After awhile, the women know exactly what I'm doing and get quite a chuckle out of it when the new employee comes in and doesn't know what to believe. My favorite ***** to pull is to tell them I am writing a book titled, "Know Your Place - A Woman's Guide to a Happy Marriage".

The reality is that I've been married 23 years and treat my wife like a Saint....but they don't need to know that. ;)

umm.. why would you ask if he's right about it?? knowing that hitting a woman is completely WRONG. honestly you can't really help a guy like that.. guys like that has that mind set from a young age and he's going to need more than your help to change. it is NEVER ok to hit a woman no matter what the situation is. a man that hits a woman isn't really a man. only b*tches hit females and for him to make a statement like that shows that he is a b*tch. a guy like that you should not socialize your self with.. he has issues and is angery about something and you shouldn't worry yourself by trying to change him.

If you believe man and woman are equal, then he can expect to be smacked right back....
If you do something wrong, man or woman, it is right to be hit once in a while.... ask him your slightly different version... see how he likes the idea of getting smacked himself for doing the same.... ha! he is very very wrong or he wants to have a power-struggle relationship...

He's completely wrong and there is something wrong with him or the way he was raised. He must have seen this happen to his mother. You shouldn't worry about him though. You should worry about his girl. If she allows him to hit her, than that's her bad especially if she allows that to happen after they marry. My thing would be, he wouldn't be hitting me anymore after the homies get up in the **** of his!

He is wrong no man should hit a women for any reason. If he keeps on that track he's going to end up in jail. Tell him if he had a daugther would he like her boyfriend to hit her once in a while. I Bet he wouldn't.

There is no understanding of a guy who is mentally twisted and an abuser. He was probably abused by females somewhere in his life, therefor thinks its ok to hit. You can't make somebody understand when they have their own set of beliefs and morals. Feel sorry for the guy. He needs therapy.

Can he say "ASSAULT"? Is he familiar with the term "DOMESTIC VIOLENCE" ? Perhaps a night or two in jail would wise him up but I would hope it never gets that far. It isn't OK to hit anyone, and he is too immature to be in any kind of relationship if he thinks it is. Maybe he needs to talk with the local police and find out what they routinely do to people who feel (and act) like he does.

Why do you have to convince him. Just wait until you see him date someone and tell her of his convictions. She'll drop him like a bad habit.

Also, if he does get married, he'll end up in prison with a big dude for a cell mate that they other prisoners call "Bam Bam."

So, you might as well start calling your co-worker "Pebbles."

Ya don't have to make him understand that it is wrong, life will teach him. Some just choose the school of hard knocks, literally! Cause if he does this he's gonna get knocked by someone.
