i have brown eyes, and brown hair, and my hair is short (above my shoulders). im very close to the complexion of mariah carey. im very open to any colors.

I would say a mixture of dirty blondes! but not too light that would be hard for a darker shade to go a lot lighter! =]

I have the exact same hair length, eyes, hair, and skin color as you. I recently streaked my hair a reddish color. Everyone liked it alot and it doesn't look too fake, like an overwhelming fire engine red. It's in the Auburn family. Or if you're more of an on-the-edge girl, I'd go with a more purply-red. Kinda like maroon. Now thats unique.

If you go to www.clairol.com, you can use their "try it on studio" for free. You can upload your own photo, it puts it on the screen, you pick your natural hair color, they suggest some colors for you and you can choose your hairstyle and go through all of their colors and compare them to your complexion.
I love going there, even if it is just to pass time or consider hair cuts.
After you get the color you want, they even give you the number on the box you are looking for and the shade. You can even try highlighting.

I'm not so good at matching faces and hair colors... I just dye my hair whatever color I like. I don't care if no one else likes it or if they think it looks bad on me. It's my hair, right? So, just pick a color you like. Consider a shade that YOU think would look good on you, and go for it. If it's not what you wanted or something you don't like.... Wait a couple weeks and do it again.

I think you should do your hair blonde, with a mix of brown,black, and red highlights. Those colors are very cool at this time.

I would say color your hair with the color that you like. Your choice matters more than anybody else's.
