My dog hides or tries to bite the beagle. What can my friend do to stop this? The mini schnauzer is fixed but the beagle is not.

Either your friend needs to get his dog fixed. Or let your let Schnauzer bite the other dog. I am really surprised, because my male Schnauzer, would never allow a dog to mount him, with out a fight. He is very dominating. Most Schnauzer are.

spay/neuter the beagle,,,, lots of times this is an attempt to show dominance.. it is not sexual. the beagle is a dog that was bred for generations as a hunting dog.. so , if this dog isn't getting tons of exercise etc.. he is going to be acting out in strange ways...
