YEAH HEALTH CLASS HAS FINALLY PAID OFF!
People have allergies for many reasons but it does involve the immune system. The role of the immune system involves production of 'the allergic antibody.' Ones immune system is not able to produce an anti-body to "fight off" something that may be normal in everyday life, so this person develops an allergy to whatever this is. But, the most important reason some people develop allergies and some don't is heredity. Which is why some people are born with allergy's verse those who develop them. Preventing exposure in early life seems to decrease the risk of allergies however, if you are born with it there is no preventing. Oftentimes people don't experience their allergy's until they move to another area because something may trigger the immune response that the person wasn't exposed to before. This doesn't mean they didn't have an allergy before, simply that they weren't exposed to their trigger. Some may even say everyone has an allergy to something, they simply haven't been exposed to whatever triggers their allergy. That's about all I know, so I hope this helped.....

allergies are caused by histamine in your system. histamine is released by the eosinophils. the action of histamine is that it increases the blood circulation in the affected part. there are several reason why histamine is released. histamine is just an immune response to foreign bodies. taking anti-histamines, such as benadryl, reduces allergic reactions.
