Don't assume it's cancer but you need to go to a doctor and let them make sure. You need to see a general surgeon or dermatologist; I would favor the former because it needs to be removed. You're describing all the red-flag features that warrant surgery for a skin lesion: changing mole, varying color, pain, and ulceration. Often, this surgery may be done right in the office so you'll be able to get this addressed quickly.

Being cancer, only a biopsy will tell. They usually take out enough, that if it is cancer, they already have it out.
Takes 5 minutes, and the only pain is the novocaine, given by injection. Call tomorrow and make an appt.
The change in color of a mole is a red flag.
Start with your family doctor.

Get to the Doctor tomorrow!!! It shouldn't hurt or be black or bleed if it's just a mole. It may not be cancer, don't assume the worst, but you need to get it checked out as soon as possible! Besides, won't you feel better knowing instead of worrying?? Make the call!

You need to get that checked out ASAP. Do not wait. Change in a wort or mole can be a sign of cancer. It may be simple, and removing the mole would take care of it. Don't let it get worse. Hopefully, it's not a sign of anything bigger.
Best wishes
