Don't buy things you can't afford. And it sounds to me like you are not a priority in your mothers life. The only thing you can do about this is not make the same mistake with your children.

Your mother, apparently has not put forth much effort to see you or the grandchildren. As a supervisor in a travel agency she should make pretty good money plus is in a position to get special deals if not a free round trip pass on an airline.
If would go ahead and take the two children to Tunisia and tell your mother that if she wants to come and see you she will have to arrange for her own ticket.

she works in a travel agency she can afford a cheap ticket if she is really dying to see you after 10 years. Dont spoil your trip and go to tunisia. She has ruined your life and yet again she is trying to ruine you trip now. dont let it happen. I have same kind of a mum bye-the-way.

This is your mum and she should have the respect and love to want to see you and her granchildren. I would never let anyone or anything come inbetween my children and I namely not a man. No I wouldnt buy the ticket

No. She hasn't been much of a Mother, spend your money on you and your kids instead. If she works in a travel agents she should get cheap flights anyway.

It's real nice that she wants to come when it's convenient for her. I would ask my kids outright, "Do you want to go on vacation or do you want your grandmother to visit?" Once they've answered, then you can tell your mom that the kids are looking forward to vacation and you had to choose one or the other for financial reasons.

I don't think so. If she wanted to spend time with you or see you and the kids she could have did that at your house. Go with your kids and have a good time.
