You are underweight by NUMBER standards (you're supposed to be around 115-125 LBS) but, as long as you eat three healthy meals a day and don't have any medical condition (cancers etc). You're OK!

Sound's exactly like me..... I have had this problem all my life...I dont know if you eat because you feel like u r starving, i mean starving to the point of throwing up...I have to eat about every 2 hours because i straight up get sick to my stomach, dizziness,cold chills,throwing up when i go way 2 long, and i blackout at times...Do u feel like this ever? If u feel Sickly,like Malnourised,shaky, blurred vision or drastic changes over time..I say Go 2 Get a Complete Checkup..If 1 docter won't listen Go 2 another if it's possible.I thought i could control this with Food....& making sure i just tended to the hunger quickly...But over the past 5 yrs. things have become serious & diffcult to even explain..I went to the doctor recently....my docter thinks possibly i have needed Insuln to control this hungar/starving problem that is only gettn worse.Basically what I'm sayn is...If it's serious & you would only know! Do check it out cause the sugars & enzymes produced by the stomach at these times of digestion or not digesting...are harmful to your bodys functions & it causes the body to produce a large sugar in places like the mouth(pertaining to cavity's) & stomach acid's over working & feeling completely empty fromm the inside out...This happens because the body is working or looking or wanting food, over working yes partly because of the Enzymes & Insulin that is Off in ur Stomach..
PS.Good Luck, i hope u feel better..It's not that were actually 'Anorexic' 'But i Swear We Could Be' if not careful..& we feel this way....cause the body keep's burning & burning & using up all the food so fast....PSS. Lastly This Is 'EXACTLY' how my stomach feels, If i could see into my stomach ...I Would Swear My Stomach Is Eating Itself..(Like waiting there for food to drop..no food meaning the enzymes that break down the food & the sugars are so off...causing the sick ness or starving. Sorry i went on & on...but it is not a good feeling. And noone understands more than someone who has also experienced this.....Bye Dear...Lila

Hello. In my opinion you are a little bit light for 13 but this age has our body fluctuate in different ways. I am 13 too and other girls I know weigh a little more than that. Yet you possibly could have a case of underweightness. I advise that if you are worried to ask a doctor or your parents. Hope I could help, bye.

As long as you are eating healthy you are good!So do a personal inventory of the way you eat just to make sure. Going vegetarian can work for atheletes too. So veggies should be OK!
One of my sons is like you. I checked with our family doctor several times when he was growing up and got the same answer everytime. Basically, if it ain't broke don't fix it! My x's family thought I was starving him!OMG!
My father tried to force me to eat more when I was your age. Bad move! So enjoy who you are and as long as you feel strong, know you're very lucky and enjoy!

PS Not everyone is capable of bulky muscle mass. My son boxes and you would think a little breeze could blow him over. No way! It's hereditary from one side of the family.
Consult your doctor if you are worried or someone is bugging you about it , that way you can have their opinion to back you up!

You are in very good shape, don't let anyone tell you any different. It is great that you are athletic and eat well.
The American population average body fat has been growing astronomically in the last 30 years. Since "normal" is defined by the average citizen weight, it is meaningless because it only reflects how sick our population is becoming.
Yes, sick because having extra fat inside our body has been proven to be the cause of numerous deceases, from heart condition, diabetes, high blood pressure, EDS (for men), breast cancer (for women) etc... etc...
Rejoice and thank God everyday for your good shape and KEEP it.

If you're very athletic you should weigh more. Muscles weigh more than fat. You should ask you doctor at your next check-up. I'm 12 and I'm about 5'6". I weigh about 126 pounds. I'm very athletic and I look pretty skinny. I also eat a lot. Like I said, ask your doctor.

You're underweight. Try eating healthy foods that are higher in fat to put on some weight in a healthy way. Like nuts, peanut butter, avocado, seeds, etc. Good luck!

Well, I'm 13 and way 93 pounds. I'm athletic too. I went to a doctor and they said I wasn't anorexic just thin. It also depends on how tall you are. I'm about the avererge height. I suggest you see your doctor and just ask them about it. I'm sure your not though!!!

of course it is you are a young active girl and puberty probably hasnt quite set in yet i was under 100 all they way thru 10th grade... but dont eat simply for the sake of gaining weight it will catch up with you fast.... trust me you are lucky

yes that is normal I mean maybe that just means you have a high matabalizim= meaning that you can eat and eat alot and you wont gain weight plus your the right size for your age..
