I kinda have a fear or asking people out. I've had problems with it all my life and I'm getting annoyed of it. I can't seem to get over it so I always have to wait for the guys to come to me...tho sometimes my friends volenteer to ask them for me. But I dont wanna do that no more...are there any good ways I can get the guy I like to ask me out?

okay. here's what you do. first of all you have to know that he likes you. so get your friends to ask him on IM casually. like soo who do you like? [blah blah] really? hmm would you ever go out with blah blah blah you blah blah? or be on IM or myspace and just be like talking and get into who you like and stuff and then say "do you want to play the rating game?" trust me guys do. so then be like how about blah blah blah this is kind of stupid but... me? cause i just want to know.
then you'll know what he thinks of you. i know that doesn't answer your question but it's a good thing to do. trust me it lets you know if their interested and if their not, then they won't think you are. but if your going to ask him out, then i advise that you do that first. and you know what? if he doesn't like you [and he probably does ;) ] then you can just say hahaahahahhaahha you believed me! [one of your friends names] just gave me $1 to ask you and... you said NO??? =) best of luck!

This is the 21st century and you need to get over your fears. Ask him out. The worst that can happen is he'll say no and then you can just move on.

I've used this one before. Make a bet with him about something and if you win tell him he has to take you out somewhere at his expense, or if he wins you have to take him out somewhere at your expense. Either way, as long as you can afford to win the bet, you win, because you get to go out with him.

say hi to him and try to get him to notice you. if he truly likes you, just doing that will make him want you and probably will ask you out
p.s. it's me, it is not easy to get over the fear of asking someone out, it took me a year just to ask one girl out
