my friend is afraid to kiss boys in a really frigid sort of way. she likes boys but always gets scared shes 19 and never kissed a boy, should we rip her for this or is that harsh.

hun, i had the exact same problem except i'm 15 and still havent done anything, guess u could consider me a "goodie good" as one of my guy friends call me. But there's nothing wrong with what your thinking...if you like the guy back then give him subtle ints, and google/youtube tips on kissing but the basic kiss is interlocking lips (his lip, then yours, then his again, then yours, etc..). Guys also appreciate honesty and if he is as sweet and decent like you say and u like him too then when you think the time comes that he's going to kiss you, you can casually mention that you've never gotten that far. Doing that will make him feel special because he can be the first one you get to kiss. and having a bit of knowledge about kissing beforehand can't hurt either ;). and one more thing,.......most guys like that in a girl because it means she isnt a skank or something else, and they think "oh, she hasnt kissed anyone, maybe i can teach her to kiss by my preferences" so that you can both enjoy it ;D GOOD LUCK :)

Start with hugging boys. Then kissing their hands. Then kissing on the check or neck. Then get close to the mouth and try closed lips. And then try open lips just a little way. Then slip out your tongue a little. The rest will be automatic. Be sure the guy has good oral hygiene-- brushes, rinses and flosses like three times a day. Don't kiss a guy with a dirty mouth or dirty skin.

You need to show her their nothing scary about kissing a boy. I say tell her stop being a baby, and get out there a kiss some guys. But not random guys, cause that's disgusting, and cause you don't know where their lips have been.

Don't worry about your friend.She needs to realize boys don't have cooties,but doesn't need to start eloping with an old hack to Australia and snog people all the time.

i cannot believe that!!! i'm 14 and i'm not afraid to kiss guys... i was hough until i met my bf... the first kiss was scary but after that... my kiss-o-phobia went awayyy lol

there is nothing wrong with being affraid. if people were mean to me for that I wouldn't wanna be there friends. people have comfort zones, and you should respect that
