I got a pretty bad sunburn on Saturday. I forgot to wear sun block when i was at my sons school fair. anyways.....my neck is peeling very badly. its not the normal thin flaky strands of skin coming off but thick yellow scab-like chunks. My neck is all cracked and it hurts very bad.

How bad of a burn do i have and what should i do?

It's a probably a second or third degree burn. Neosporan may help. Make sure you drink tons of water.

you had a second degree sunburn that had blisters which popped and now is becoming infected. More than like it got that way because of sweat and also because it is an area that is exposed to ther sun quite a bit. Get some one to help you do this. Apply warm salt water with a soft cloth and clean the burn really well(this will hurt ) and them apply neosporin or bactroban and cover with sterile nonstick pads. Change the pads 2-3 times a day adding more medicine. If the pain gets worse or if you start running a fever go to the doctor or and ER

The best thing for you to do is to put some patrolium jelly on it or some sunscreen to help the healing process.

well it sounds bad and to help it you could put some aloe on it that you can buy at almost any drug store and to help the peeling you could put some vitamin E on it and it should help.
