po stands for per oral, or by mouth
qd stands for quod diem, or every day
Do NOT confuse with qid meaning quart in diem, 4x a day...
This is once daily

It means 'every day' Want a few more? qid means four times a day, bid means twice a day, tid means three times a day, qod means every other day. Ain't medical jargon fun? As a healthcare provider when I write scripts I've quit using the jargon. I write out 'four times a day.'..or whatever I mean. It stops confusion for everybody...especially for the patient....the one person I do NOT want confused.

I believe it by mouth, 4 times a day. If you are taking med. you should call a pharmacist they are the experts.
