I don't think my phobia is strange but some people say it is. I'm frightened of ketchup but terrified of brown sauce, even the smell of brown sauce frightens me.

I'm a recluse so I have a people phobia. I can't do with a lot of chatter in the background which may be because I can't make sense of each and every conversation. All together it becomes a cacophany of sound: conversation punctuated by hysterical laughter - at which point I'll either leave or yell at people to shut up. In real life I don't talk more than is required and feel a lot of people just babble for the sake of it.

The only STRANGE phobia i USED to have as a child was a fear of balloons. I was afraid of them bursting, but i was more afraid when they were untied and the way they fly through the air farting when the air is escaping. I literally had to leave the room when my family would release them. I am much better now tho, although I am still not 100% comfortable around them.

My other CURRENT phobias are not strange to me at all - I have fear of heights, bridges and flying (related to fear of heights), moths, rodents and deep water. I think these phobias are all completely rational and not strange at all!!

I'm with the belly button answer, urgh! my main fear when pregnant is what if it's an outty! Can't bear it touched, the mere talk of it i'm cringing. I to can't stand ketchup if it goes near me I freak, if on me the world ends. But my big phobia is watching a a balloon float up in the sky out of sight this really freaks me out totally, don't know why.
Oh and Russell Grant the fat astrologer used to be on telly, I can't watch him or listen to him because I once had a dream of him forcing my hands down his underpants!!!

I don't know what its called, but I can not STAND anything frozen to cling to me.. like taking ice cubes out of the tray with wet hands or putting the spoon in my mouth after getting ice cream out of the jug. I rinse all of my popsicles before eating and won't touch ice until it is completely moist.

I also hate, can't stand, styrofoam and Cling wrap. I don't like the texture of either if it rubs my fingers.

Interesting about the brown sauce.. do you mean like gravy or anything brown such as soy sauce?

Fish or other seafood. I can't stand it, the smell makes me feel like vomiting and I can't even stand watching it being cooked on TV.
How anybody can eat anything which smells so awful amazes me.
I also can't stand getting powder of any sort such as detergents, bath salts etc., under my finger nails.

I think this is a phobia:
I'm always worried before we go on a long journey that i'll need the loo, and I get really paranoid about it, and won't drink for like 12 hours before the journey and make myself ill about it.

I can't have flour on my hands - If I make dough I can't rub flour over the rolling pin, and I can hardly touch naan bread or any other floury bread. I also hate seeing people rub cream into their hands and the sound of it. Oh and the word 'whet' pronounced properly, oh god i did it in my head argh
