Can we, for the very sake of argument, just humor the atheists who keep asking the question........."If Jesus died in ____ way, would you wear a ______(insert object of death here) around your neck?"

Yes, okay, I would wear a silver syringe, or a plastic electric chair, or a ribbon noose okay?

Is anyone feeling this question is getting just as old and worn out as the whole monkey/evolution/wheres our tails thing??

ooooooooooooooooh yes, I'm with you on that! Besides, bottom line, Jesus wasn't killed with a syringe or guilletine - it was a cross and that's what I wear.

And yes, I even will wear a CRUCIFIX at times to honor Christ's willingness to die for us, not knowing what would come next. (Wow, I must really be a sicko to wear an image of a dead body - please note the sarcasm.)

HI
No because most people do not understand wearing something that killed an important figure in Christianity, I am Christian and do not practice idolatry, if a drunk driver killed one of my children I would not put his car or my son's car on my front yard, I would hate the object of pain and suffering, Jesus suffered a horrible torment and wearing the cause of his pain and suffering is just terrible.Lammy

i agree that it is getting worn out.

however the real question is

Why do you use an ancient impliment of torture to symbolise a man that claimed to be of pure love and peace?

would not something depicting a ray of light or the star of bethlehem better represenf Jesus?

Whats wrong with a real noose? It would make suicide a lot easier too.
