We did not make much money last year, so we do not want to pay a CPA to do our taxes. I would like to use TurboTax or Tax Cut to do our taxes. Which one am I supposed to use? Home & Business? Thank you.

If you are self employed, operating as a sole proprietorship, you file schedule C. I like tax cut, and you can use the cheapest program they sell. Any program will handle a schedule C. If you are a partnership, or LLC, or Sub-S corporation you need a more expensive business program.

With those jobs, if you did not make much last year, you need business plan more than tax advice. Loan officers at my bank START at 3 times my income.

Yes, home and business and Turbo tax is the easiest.
