Jesus changed them a bit.
Matthew 19:17-78 states:
Now someone approached him and said, "Teacher, what good must I do to gain eternal life?"
He answered him, "Why do you ask me about the good? There is only One who is good. If you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments."
For Christians, Jesus fulfilled the Law of Moses.
Christians are not held to the ceremonial parts of the Mosaic Law concerning of dietary purity and temple worship.
Christians are held to the moral law of God, some of which is expressed in the Ten Commandments.
However Jesus took the Ten Commandments to the next step summarizing them into the two Great Commandments:
+ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.
+ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
And teaching things like
+ Everyone who looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
+ Everyone is our neighbor including our enemies.
Therefore we have to go much farther than the original recipients of the Ten Commandments ever dreamed.
With love in Christ.

The "Ten Commandments" are area of OT regulation, and a sturdy criminal expert ought to coach that they've been extra often than not abolished by utilising Jesus' coming. If any society relatively observed the ten commandments, it would give way in on itself; without avarice, covetousness, envy, greed, delight etc., there could be no "striving" for something, and no progression. If a guy or woman is thoroughly content textile with their lot, what reason is there for them to even do any artwork? whether that's a "sin" for a surgeon to demonstrate delight in her artwork, why trouble? The bible itself additionally "modifications and abolishes" God's rules... The "Ten Commandments" are diverse in diverse places! i think of we can all agree that no one ought to homicide, thieve, or commit adultery, yet no-possible agree (no longer even the bible ITSELF) on each and all of the others! In Mark 10, verse 19 it appears like Jesus is asserting there are in effortless terms 5 commandments!

The answer must be yes, otherwise Christ was leading us all astray. In the New Testament Christ fulfills the Law of Moses and give a "new law", which was actually more strict, for His people to follow. Just because the law was replaced doesn't mean the law is broken or altered. The law of Moses is sufficient for its purpose, but there can be other laws, for other purposes. God has an eternal plan and made promises to mankind, which he will not go against, but He may continue to provide wisdom (e.g., God called many prophets in the Bible to direct His people).

Well, I guess it depends which Ten Commandments of which you are speaking. I recently did a paper in grad school about the transmission of the ten commandments from origination to the present day. I was quite surprised to find out that the original ten commandments in the King James bible are NOT the ten that we are taught in Sunday School. Also, that due to new information, some previous translations have been slightly altered. Do you realize how many different versions of the Bible there are? Do you realize that the english versions of the Bible were actually translated from (I believe it was) Islamic scholars who translated it from the Greeks? The original versions of bibles all stemmed from the Jewish Torah? If you are truly interested in finding out this information that I have mentioned. Go to your biggest local library in the non-fiction section of the 220's and you will be amazed at what you find. I was. Happy Hunting!

There was also the the the 7 laws of Noahide.
The U.S. Congress officially recognized the Noahide Laws in legislation which was passed by both houses. Congress and the President of the United States, George Bush, indicated in Public Law 102-14, 102nd Congress, that the United States of America was founded upon the Seven Universal Laws of Noah, and that these Laws have been the bedrock of society from the dawn of civilization. They also acknowledged that the Seven Laws of Noah are the foundation upon which civilization stands and that recent weakening of these principles threaten the fabric of civilized society, and that justified preoccupation in educating the Citizens of the United States of America and future generations is needed. For this purpose, this Public Law designated March 26, 1991 as Education Day, U.S.A.
The Noahide Laws based on Genesis nine are:
* To behave justly in all relationships, and to establish courts of justice.
* To refrain from blaspheming Gods name.
* To refrain from practicing idolatry.
* To avoid immoral practices, specifically incest and adultery.
* To avoid shedding the blood of ones fellow man.
* To refrain from robbing ones fellow man.
* To refrain from eating a limb torn from a live animal.
All Men should live by these if the truly want to attain an intimate relationship with our creator with love and warmth inside the kingdom that shines upon us daily.

Since we like to quote scripture, here is what Paul said in Galatians 3;
6 ¶ even as
7 Notice therefore that those who possess faith are true sons of Abraham.
8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that in consequence of faith God would declare the nations to be free from guilt, sent beforehand the Good News to Abraham, saying, <"In you all the nations shall be blessed.">
9 So we see that it is those who possess faith that are blessed with believing Abraham.
10 All who are depending upon their own obedience to the Law are under a curse, for it is written, <"Cursed is every one who does not remain faithful to all the precepts of the Law, and practise them.">
11 It is evident, too, that no one can find acceptance with God simply by obeying the Law, because <"the righteous shall live by faith,">
12 and the Law has nothing to do with faith. It teaches that <"he who does these things shall live by doing them.">
13 Christ has purchased our freedom from the curse of the Law by becoming accursed for us—because <"Cursed is every one who is hanged upon a tree.">
and;
19 ¶ Why then was the Law given? It was imposed later on for the sake of defining sin, until the seed should come to whom God had made the promise; and its details were laid down by a mediator with the help of angels.
20 But there cannot be a mediator where only one individual is concerned.
21 God, however, is only one. Is the Law then opposed to the promises of God? No, indeed; for if a Law had been given which could have conferred Life, righteousness would certainly have come by the Law.
22 But Scripture has shown that all mankind are the prisoners of sin, in order that the promised blessing, which depends on faith in Jesus Christ, may be given to those who believe.
23 Before this faith came, we Jews were perpetual prisoners under the Law, living under restraints and limitations in preparation for the faith which was soon to be revealed.
24 So that the Law has acted the part of a tutor-slave to lead us to Christ, in order that through faith we may be declared to be free from guilt.
25 But now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor-slave.

Absolutely NOT! God's laws shall always be. Jesus gave us two laws that condensed the 10 commandments
36"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'[b] 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'[c] 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
If you love God you would not worship other "gods" or form graven image, keep the sabath day Holy or say his name in Vain.
If you love your neighbor you would Honor you mother and father not kill not steal bear false witness against thy neighbor, commit adultury would not covet your neighbor possession
if you loves God you will follow ALL HIS COMMANDMENT NOT SOME YOU LIKE TO FOLLOW ALLLLL OF THEM by doing so you are a child of God, failture and deviation from the law IS NOT A CHILD OF GOD

If I try to obey the law - I must obey and follow all the laws God has given to be made right with God. If we all honestly look at ourselves - none can do that. Jesus released us from the law, that was set in place by God as a precursor to His new covenant, which was fulfilled in Jesus.
