I have had the most horrible cough and there is this little snorting sound when I breath in and breath out. This has ended, but I have a feeling that it may come back soon. I have been sitting near the humitifier and all... but should I maybe call the doctor if this gets any worse? Has this happened to you?

If you have a fever, or if the cough persists for more than ten days... see a doctor.

It could be bronchitis. I get it every year. It has a nasty cough and wheezing. If it does not stop in a day or so I would call. You have to get an antibiotic to get rid of it and it could go into pneumonia if left untreated. Hope you feel better!!

Sounds like you need some antibiotics to kill the bacteria, you might have walking pnemonia, do you have a low grade fever? I'd call the doc and get some meds, good luck.

i get it sometimes....yup there's the wheezy sound wen u breath in & out....
i consulted the doctor...just take steam regularly in the night...
& an antibiotic...it worked fr me...i hd allergy wth somthing...
better consult the doctor..

might be asthma or COPD
