Christians: Please tell me if you consider the story of Adam and Eve to be historical fact or allegory?

If you think the story is historical, why did God give men nipples?

Puddi, you answer a question with a question that only further makes me think that it didn't happen like Adam and Eve. Not much of an answer.

So tsc, what you're telling me is that God created man first, but women actually came first? That doesn't make any sense. Clarify.

Historical fact. And, as an answer to your other question, why did he give Adam and Eve an appendix? It has no function really except to burst. God's reason's are his own.

I believe Adam and Eve were real people, the first people that God created. I honestly don't know why God gave men nipples, I'm sure He has a reason for it. I trust in Him and I believe His word. He created Adam and Eve, therefore they are real, historical facts.
