I had them every since i fell on my knees in elementary school. I used to wear shorts all the time, but now I'm in highschool and no matter how many times i wear shorts to the beach or outside, the blackened knees don't go away. I tried lotions and cocoa butter, but nothing works. I used to play soccer and basketball, but because of my knees I got shy and gave all that up. I'm thinking of seeing a dermatologist, but the cost is what I'm worrying about. I just want to wear shorts and skirts again. Can anyone help me?

Lemon juice is meant to aid lighten epidermis pigment. Just placed a well quantity of juice on for approximately quarter-hour then wash off with hot water. The citrus/acid is meant to aid. Putting baking soda in tub water and taking a satisfactory, lengthy, hot tub is helping too. Tomato juice, potatoes, and in a single day soaked almonds (flooring up and made right into a paste with milk), while carried out to the epidermis and allowed to sit down for 15-half-hour are common bleaches that may lighten epidermis. Obviously continually placed on sunscreen in your legs should you wish them to stay a satisfactory gentle color.

You go to the dermatologist. You won't know unless you try. You could trying a bleaching lotion/product. But be careful. First ask a doctor. And I'm sure some good ole exfoliation would help!

I use to have them!!! Seriously, what truly works is the 'BLEACHING CREAM'!! You use that stuff daily. Spread it over your knees and leave it on for about 5 minutes, and then scrape off the cream with the lid of the product(Scraping it off helps remove the black gunk). Do this everyday for about 1-2 weeks and those black knees will no longer be black!

Listen...people aren't gonna always like you, wether or not you have dark spots. You have to have confidence in yourself. Dont feel ashamed, get out there and have fun! Dont miss out on things you love. I have dark elbows and knees, but I'm like...its too HOT to wear pants! People will point out your flaws, but you have to remember your strengths. Theres more to you than darkened knees :)

I've heard that rubbing alcohol works. Every night scrub them with alcohol an a cotton ball. My niece is overweight and her neck was dark but her real skin color is light so she rubbed her neck every day with alcohol and now it's getting lighter.
