if someone says you are "going out" with a boy but you NEVER see him outside of school and you don't kiss him? How could that be a boyfriend if you never spend time with him outside of school? Some of my friends have had these so called relationships but are they really bf/gf relationships?

Stupid teenagers "go out" just so they can have a bf/gf. They don't mean anything to either party involved.

Yea, it's still a relationship. Just because you would like to see that person outside of school and don't, doesn't mean it's not really your boyfriend. Some people have long distance relationships and only see their bf/gf once a week. Your lucky!

No it isn't, a boyfriend is someone you see outside of school and spend time with like go to the movies with or just hang out. Like establishing a relationship beyond friend status.

Nope. Doesn't sound like a real relationship at all. Are you somewhere in grades 3-9...? Your friends really shouldn't be worrying about having a significant other at this point-- they should be concentrating on living life and being a kid. After all, you only have a few more years at the most to enjoy it before you're off to the "real world"! But you shouldn't be the one to tell them so. Just let them do their thing and bask in the knowledge that you're cooler without a silly "relationship" ;)

well if your "going out" with someone then yes, they are technically your bf/gf.Usually during middle school yrs, kids tend to go out & they never really do anythig outside of school,they dont kiss,they just usually hug.Its a common thing in these types of relationhsips but its not really "love"

well if your under the age of 14 that is as good as a relationship gets if your any older than you are not in a relationship no way no how!!!! so basically all depends all on your age!!!

lol then what do they do? just talk on msn ? (im guessing that's what they do because my friends used to do so. me too ;P ..now i dont because i want to make sure my relationship with the guy is REAL) would that include talking on the phone?
