Mine was. When my job transferred me to another city 3 years ago, he was all that I had. He continued to be all that I had until last October when he had to be Euthanized due to complications from his diabetes. He was always happy to greet me when I came home from work; and was always there to listen and console me. I love him dearly and will always miss him. I may, someday get another cat; but, Sammy can and will never be replaced.
